Danamid PA6 and PA66 Compounds

Danamid polyamide 6 and 66 compounds are injection moulding grades. The products are characterized by good mechanical strength, excellent resistance to abrasion, weather, chemicals and low frictional properties.

Thermal, light and impact resistance, electrical and flame retardant properties of compounds are improved by additives. Glass fiber and mineral reinforced types show excellent mechanical properties and low mould shrinkage. The stiffness, the mould shrinkage and the heat stability of PA66 are better than the characteristics of PA 6.

The melting point of PA66 is higher by 40°C.
